 In the state of Tennessee, you can work with us for 90 days without a referral or prescription. 

Insurance companies are reducing reimbursement and limiting coverage of many interventions physical therapists provide for effective outcomes. 

To compensate for this decline in coverage and reimbursement, most physical therapy clinics treat multiple patients at once and are expected to manage client care at the same time as completing documentation. 

This shift in client care has resulted in the following:

• Patients are receiving low quality or rushed care which frequently results in poor outcomes
• Patients are not  receiving individualized or one-on-one care which causes many ailments to be missed and the patient to oftentime feel overlooked
• Therapists are scheduling patients at a higher volume to increase frequency of reimbursement so clients end up paying more in co-pays over the course of therapy

We believe our patients deserve better and refuse to let insurance companies dictate our patient's care. 

We will gladly prepare a super-bill for you, which will allow you to easily submit proof of your appointment to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.

We recommend contacting your insurance company for further clarification on this question, but in most cases, YES, you can send a "self-claim" to your insurance company for your treatment with our therapists. 

We encourage you to contact your insurance company for clarification on what they require for submission of reimbursement for "out-of'network Physical Therapy" and notify our office to ensure we supply you with all the necessary documentation for your submission.
